Do I need to prep my skin before a peel?
Yes — advanced Circadia peels require you to be on Circadia homecare for at least 2 weeks beforehand. This ensures your skin is healthy and reduces the risk of irritation.
Is there downtime?
Gel-Based Peels: Little to no downtime. You may experience mild flaking or pinkness.
Ethanol-Based Peels: 5–7 days of visible peeling and sensitivity. You’ll receive an aftercare kit and clear post-treatment instructions.
Can I wear makeup after my peel?
Avoid makeup for at least 24–48 hours, especially after ethanol-based peels, to allow your skin to heal properly.
How often can I get a chemical peel?
This depends on the type of peel, your skin goals, and your skin’s recovery. Most gel peels can be done every 2–4 weeks, while deeper peels are done every 6–8 weeks or seasonally.
Are peels painful?
